About the Ranking System
The British Snow Tour has again opened its doors to other events/series to complement its "National Championship" series of events and create the "British Snow Tour Ranking". Collectively this Ranking list will provide the truest reflection of UK athlete ranking.
THE COMPETITION PATHWAY MISSION
Develop a pathway for the general enthusiast to become a global top athlete. Partner with global organisation's such as World Snowboard Federation (WSF), Ticket to Ride World Tour (TTR), FIS, and national organisations such as Snowsport England, Scotland, Wales, and Combined Services etc to deliver the national objectives.
THE OBJECTIVE
Create a ranking system enabling athletes to assess their
ability and progress and for coaches & home nations to identify
& cultivate talent.
Expand the successful British Snow Tour (BST) to include existing
National Championships & new UK based competitions.
THE RANKING SYSTEM
The Ranking List allows athletes to identify
their skills based on participation at a National competition level
and on a Global competition level.
The calendar will
run from 1st May until 30 April (Same as TTR).
"British Snow Tour (BST) Ranking"
Utilises ONLY freestyle competitions (SS, HP, BA and QP) from UK mountain resorts, indoor slopes, and dry slopes.
Competitions are given a ranking of 1 to 3 stars BST status (Some Snowboard competitions are also given 1 star TTR status) and will produce the following ranking:
